I have a 1000-or-so-line SCSS file that is currently taking about 20 seconds to compile. I'm running into an issue where navigating to another tab within Visual Studio is causing a compilation of the stylesheet. The .css files are being updated on the hard disk and any errors in the SCSS are immediately showing up in the WW output. Shouldn't the compile only happen when the SCSS is saved? Is there a way to download a previous version until this is fixed? It would also be helpful not to have the compilation of the stylesheet block the VS UI, though I'm sure that's more complicated than it sounds. Kris |

Hi Kris, Absolutely compilation should only be running when you save the file, not when you change tabs. We already do run the process on another thread for tasks like highlighting etc, but as you note, it's not as simple as it could be when you're running a Visual Studio extension. Did this problem only manifest itself recently? Could you detail what other extensions you are running? Thanks, John-Daniel |

I've only noticed it over the last couple of weeks. During that time, I did upgrade Resharper to version 6.1. That and the Nuget package manager are the only other extensions I have installed. |

Just wanted to update -- I'm still experiencing the issue with all extensions disabled other than WW. Let me know if you'd like me to generate a repro project. |
