Hi guys, like using the SCSSGenerator, but i have a small problem. How can you tell the project to translate all .scss to .css? Usually it converts .scss to .css when saving the .scss, but for me its not enough. Imagine following situation: a.scss @import "b.scss"; ----------------------------------------------- b.scss $ifcond = variant1; @mixin linkcolor{
Problem: Everything is compiled already, but now i want to change the $ifcond = variant1; to $ifcond = variant2; in b.scss. So b.css gets compiled, but due to the reference a -> b a.scss should be compiled too. Do you see a solution?

Sry, @if $compileFor == ... should be of course @if $ifcond == ... |

If I understood correctly you meant you want the dependencies (imports) to recompile on save. +1 for that! |

Yes, getting dependencies to recompile when an @imported file is updated is something we're keen to do. Unfortunately, it's dependent on an architectural change (we're currently using some built-in Visual Studio infrastructure, and this infrastructure doesn't really support dependency regeneration). We do have this planned, but we don't have a date for it yet. We do appreciate you letting us know that this is important, and we will try to bump the priority for you! |

I don't really think this is a primary issue since most of the times, if the is a change in the dependancy it should be saved (and compiled) anyway!
Maybe compilation during build-time should be considered more, and dependancy resolution could be better there. |
