Who we are and what we do

Most software developers think somebody should do a better job of delivering great tools and components. Tools that are simpler and more convenient to use.  Components that are quick to download and evaluate, and work idiomatically with your favourite platform.  And of course all this while making it easy to tweak them to your particular needs.

That's what Mindscape's all about.  We've got years of experience on .NET and other platforms, and we were tired of waiting for 'somebody' to bring the awesome.  So in 2007 we started a company to do it ourselves: to build the best developer tools we could, based on three simple principles.

Living, breathing software

We don't accept the line that quarterly releases are a fast release cycle.  When you need a feature or you've hit a bug, you can't afford to wait three months, let alone longer.  In project terms, three months is an ice age!  So while we're constantly adding cool features and fixing bugs, we don't sit on those innovations and improvements.  All Mindscape products have nightly builds available for customers who want them - so you can get bug fixes or feature requests in twenty four hours or less. New features always on tap, and support turnaround that's simply unbeatable -- that's Mindscape software.

Your time is valuable, don't waste it

We're all about saving developers time, right from the start. Want to download a product? Bam, it's done.  We won't force you to wait for hundreds of megabytes of stuff you're not interested in just to get the one thing you are. You'll get a quick download and the product you want to work with. We won't demand phone numbers and pester you to purchase - we think the quality of our products speaks for itself.

Essential software only

There's value... and then there's bloat. Every control vendor likes to brag about how many controls they have.  We prefer to brag about how many useful controls we have. Every control we develop is there for a reason, and that reason ain't to bump up the numbers!  Don't clutter up your tool box -- get essential controls that you'll actually use and find fantastic!
