We use Compass and want to integrate workbench with our build server. When I try to compile using the command line I get the following: C:\Program Files (x86)\Mindscape\Web Workbench\Command Line>wwcmd D:\Workspace\WebcommBack\Main\IedersXX\Sources\Presentation\Web\sass\dsw.scss /style:compressed Syntax error: File to import not found or unreadable: compass/reset. Load paths: C:/Program Files (x86)/Mindscape/Web Workbench/Command Line D:/Workspace/WebcommBack/Main/IedersXX/Sources/Presentation/Web/sass on line 1 of D:/Workspace/WebcommBack/Main/IedersXX/Sources/Presentation/Web/sass/_reset-basics.scss from line 4 of D:\Workspace\WebcommBack\Main\IedersXX\Sources\Presentation\Web\sass\dsw.scss Use --trace for backtrace. Using @import "compass" doesn't work either. Any clue how to fix this? Version used: Nightly Build for 29 Jul 2013 - WebWorkbenchCommandLine-20130729.msi |

The command line compiler doesnt execute the Compass compiler so this is the cause of the error because the Compass compiler brings these imports into scope. If this is a Compass based project and you want to compile via Compass on the command line you can call the Compass command line compiler directly. By default we unpack a Ruby installation with Compass to the current users AppData\Local\Temp\Mindscape\WebWorkbench\Ruby193\Ruby193\bin folder. From there you can call:

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately Ruby193 or compass.bat is nowhere to be found on my disk... Any clue? Installing the nightly now to see if it's in there. A follow-up question for when I find my ruby193 folder: How does the configuration work with compass.bat, same as the command line tool? Or do I use the config.rb file? |

We installed ruby/sass/compass separately now. Problem solved. |
