I've created a test web project (MVC4 standard web application with account controller). After this I set up the compass project, which correctly added the sass folder. I then updated the config.rb to:
I then created a folder under images, called test, in which i copied all the default project images (accent, bullet, herroaccent and orderedlist0-9). Now I'm able to choose generate spriting import frtom the test folder when right clicking it, but when i do this i first got the error: An error occurred when trying to generate the spriting import: Cannot find file "C:\Users\prh\Documents\Visual Studio 2012\Projects\Test2\sass\sprites". I then created the sprites folder and did it again: An error occurred when trying to generate the spriting import: Cannot find file "C:\Users\prh\Documents\Visual Studio 2012\Projects\Test2\sass\sprites_test.scss". I then added _test.scss to the folder myself and tried again, this time no error but also nothing else happened, no updated to the test file, and I don't see any combined image having been generated anywhere. I've got a few plugins running in VS2012 (I saw this being mentioned as a possible issue regarding another error in the forum): Devart Entity Developer 5.5.139.0 Git Source Control Provider 1.0.0.0 JetBrains ReSharper 7.0.1 Full Edition Mindscape Web Workbench 1.0 NuGet Package Manager 2.7.40808.167 PreEmptive Analytics Visualizer 1.0 Web Developer Tools 1.2.40308.0 I hope for a resolution as it would be nice to actually avoid doing sprites like these manually :) Best regards, Poul |

Are those folders write protected/read-only? That error would indicate a permissions issue.

No, it's the default VS folder under Documents, I've even tried running VS2012 in Admin/Elevated privilege mode to see if it made any difference... |

I suspect something is occurring with the underlying spriting call. Ive added some additional debugging to help trace this and this will be available in the next nightly build. Let me know once you are able to re-test this after installing the updated nightly.

I've turned on "enable experimental fixes" and restarted visual studio... Is anything else required for getting the fixes when I run this? (If not, then nothing is different, i get exactly the same info i nthe web workbench output) |

No that is all that is required. Can you confirm what version you updated to just so I can check that version includes the additional debugging.
