Copy selection / Paste into Excel |

Hello Nestor Not yet, but I'll make sure this gets done for you within a week. Jason Fauchelle |

Hello Nestor The copy from DataGrid and paste into Excel feature will be built into the DataGrid in the next nightly build. This includes automatically wiring up the Ctrl+C shortcut for you, so there is nothing you'll need to do to enable this. I've covered all the use cases that I could think of across all selection types (row, cell, RowAndCell). Rows and columns are kept in the order that the user sees in the DataGrid. If there are gaps in the selection (entire unselected rows or columns between the selected cells) then the gaps do not appear when pasting, instead the selected cells are moved together to remove these gaps. I've also added Ctrl+A support for you when using Cell selection. The performance of selecting all cells is good, but copying the entire data grid to the clipboard can take a few seconds for the grid I was testing on (1000 rows and 25 columns). Try it out in the next nightly build and let me know how it goes. Jason Fauchelle |

I got this exception when pressing Ctrl-C. Whatever the reason, the Grid should never crash when it cannot copy the data to the clipboard... I think you should continue quietly...

Hello Nestor I haven't come across this issue before, but in the next nightly build, the DataGrid will catch any Clipboard exceptions. Jason Fauchelle |
