We have the commercial, enterprise version...I am getting this exception in a new project; I copied the .lic from my other project that IS working; any ideas? {"An instance of type 'Mindscape.WpfPropertyGrid.PropertyGrid' was being created, and a valid license could not be granted for the type 'Mindscape.WpfPropertyGrid.PropertyGrid'. Please, contact the manufacturer of the component for more information."} |

Hello Paul, Have a look at the FAQ at http://www.mindscape.co.nz/forums/Thread.aspx?ThreadID=1309, and if none of the suggestions there help, please zip up the project and send it to us (via the contact form if you don't want to post it in the public forums) so we can reproduce and address the problem. My guess would be that the build action of the .licx file is not set to Embedded Resource. (I assume that when you say you copied the .lic file this is a typo for .licx -- otherwise that's the problem.) |
