I have a class with a property of type ReadOnlyCollection<string>. When I drill into the collection (via the property grid), I see each string listed within an editable text box. Interestingly, attempting to change the text causes a red border to appear and the changes are not reflected in the collection. However, I'd like each string value to appear as a grayed out box; matching the style used in the rest of the grid for readonly items. Is this expected behavior for the grid or a bug? If the former, how can I change this so items from a read only collection appear grayed out. Thanks, -Craig P.S. - I've attached a sample that demonstrates the issue. |

Thanks for reporting this and for providing the repro case. We agree that in a ReadOnlyCollection the elements should be presented as read-only. I have committed a fix and this will be included in version 2 of the grid which should be released in the next day or two -- we will announce on the blog when it is available. |
