Hi, (Using WPF Elements v6.0.2385.22862) I'm using an AutoCompleteBox in order to provide a list of "Tags". Using the code below I can allow users to select multiple tags using a space delimiter. What I can't see is how I can bind to the selection(s). Any pointers much appreciated. Ultimately, I'd like to be able to provide a template for each of the selected items if that were possible too.
Thanks, David |

Hello David The AutoCompleteBox is a TextBox extension. So all the text is available to bind to through the Text property. When this changes, you can parse/split the text to get the individual selected items. The AutoCompleteBox doesn't actually store these as separate items, it simply uses the delimiter to drive the behavior. The ability to template each selected item would be a very nice feature, but not so trivial to implement. This is on our backlog, but we don't have immediate plans to implement this yet. Depending on the extent of the templateing you want to do, you may be able to create a custom style and some kind of attached behavior to achieve this. -Jason Fauchelle |
