I have a strange problem, across all projects, and even on a different pc, I get no syntax highlight in Less. Files compile fine and everything, just no highlight (or intellisense). I don't really know what else info I can give you to resolve this, I only have resharper and chirpy installed, and chirpy is configured to ignore .less files. |

Hi, That doesn't sound very good! Some questions:
Thanks, we'll help get it sorted for you, John-Daniel |

The problem is irrelevant to the file, new files and old alike. Turns out chirpy is the culprit, as disabling it isn't enough, I needed to uninstall it. Thanks for the attention to this |

Fabian de Groot's "Minifier" extension caused this same problem for me, uninstalling it resolved the issue. For minification and bundling we're using SquishIt, which doesn't override any of Visual Studio's normal behavior, sidestepping this bug. |

Hi, I have the same problem with chirpy installed, however when i disabled chirpy in the ad-in manager all comes back to normal. Also, everything was working fine, even with chirpy enabled, up to the moment where i activated my copy of workbench. Could you please tell me how to deactivate workbench on my PC so i can go back to a unregistered copy ? That leaves one feature request: Allow us to disable minification, just like we can turn off intellisense (that might fix this issue). Like i said, it was working fine, in conjunction with chirpy, up to the moment that i activated my copy. The only thing i really wanted from the pro version was:
Unfortunately i need chirpy more than i need workbench, but if i could have both, that would be cool. Thanks, Robert P.S. I gave Squishit a try, but for our projects i prefer working with chirpy.config to configure my bundles, because some files need to remain uncompressed, and some need certain compressors with certain switches while others require other switches. |
