Hello, When using nesting rules in LESS files in VS2010 the intellisense goes a little crazy.. For example.... div { h2 { } } the intellisense would change the h2 to 'hanging-punctuation' after a return. Please help this is driving me crazy! Natasha |

Unfortunately there's a limited amount we can do about this because of the nature of the Less syntax. When you type the 'h' of 'h2', we don't know whether you're planning to type a property name (like 'height') or a nested selector (like 'h2'), so we can only pop up the list of properties. You should be able to get 'h2' by carrying on typing, ignoring the popup. However from what you're saying it sounds like we are overaggressive in trying to force our suggestions after you type the '2'. Is it that you are hitting 'return' immediately after the '2' i.e. your layout is
rather than
If so we will look into this and try to get it fixed for you, but in the meantime the workaround is to hit Esc before return -- this will dismiss the intellisense popup and prevent the 'return' from being treated as accepting the intellisense suggestion. |

Thanks for the prompt reply. Yes I am hitting return after the '2'- esc is a better work around than what I have been using thank you. Other than that we are so impressed with 'Web Workbench' that we purchased the pro version. Look forward to your update :D |
