[WWB3] Functionality doesn't seem to be here ... possibly installed wrong?

I downloaded version 2 from Microsoft's site before visiting here and updating via the built-in Visual Basic update mechanism. I have purchased the Pro pack and entered the license number.

Three issues:

1. Context highlighting seems to be working -- variables look good and autocomplete, and code folding works on nested styles (Yay!)

   However, when I type something like .g { [ENTER] hei it doesn't offer autocomplete options or tab in the first line like it does when I'm writing pure CSS. Once I've typed the closed bracket, autocomplete seems to work again.

2. When clicking the Workbench Settings option in the Mindscape menu, I get an error: "The parameter is incorrect. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070057 (E_INVALIDARG))" If I click OK and then try again, I get a blank tab that says "This project does not contain any Web Workbench files."

3. Under File > New I do not have any options, under any of the template groups, to create a new LESS (or SASS or CoffeeScript) file.

I've tried uninstalling and restarting, but these issues are the same. The message about not containing any Workbench files makes me think I'm simply not configured correctly, but the getting started guide doesn't mention anything about how you might do that.

Any help or direction is greatly appreciated!

1. Hmm, it looks like we may have a regression here. I'll investigate further and we'll try to get you a fix as soon as possible.

2. We're not sure what might cause this. Try clicking in the text editor before choosing the Web Workbench Settings menu item. Does that help? If not could you run Visual Studio with the /log option (devenv /log), trigger the error, close Visual Studio and send us the %AppData% \ Roaming \ Microsoft \ VisualStudio \ 10.0 \ ActivityLog.xml file please? Thanks!

3. Are you using a Web Site or a Web application project? At the moment, the templates do not appear for Web Sites. We encourage developers to use Web application projects regardless, but if you prefer or have to use Web Sites, for the time being just choose the Text File template and manually enter the .scss, .less or .coffee file extension. This is on our radar to fix.

I'm also having the same issue. Selecting "Mindscape > Web Workbench Settings" triggers the error

Looking at the DEVENV log, I find the following:

Has there been any fix so far?

No we have not been able to reproduce this issue here to understand what is occurring.

Could you run Visual Studio with the /log option (devenv /log), trigger the error, close Visual Studio and send us the %AppData% \ Roaming \ Microsoft \ VisualStudio \ 10.0 \ ActivityLog.xml file please? Hopefully this may add a bit more insight into what is occuring.

Outside of this I presume you have tried uninstalling and then reinstalling WW?
