Hello, I'm having loads of issues trying to get Web Workbench Pro to work with my Visual Studio 2013 Professional. My setup is as follows:
When I installed the Mindscape Web Workbench tool, it asked for the Pro key, which I proceeded to type in. I created a Web Project with MVC and then enabled Compass for the project. Using the NuGet package manager, I downloaded Bootstrap Sass for Visual Studio 2013 and it went straight into /sass. I renamed _bootstrap.scss to bootstrap.scss and I made some changes in it to see if it compiled. It didn't, so I went to Mindscape/Web Workbench settings and enabled compilation for the file, but to no avail. After reading your forum, I then proceeded to uninstall Web Workbench, re-downloaded and re-installed it again, just in case I had a corrupted installation before. After restarting Visual Studio 2013, the tool didn't ask for the key. Now the problem is even bigger because the Compile or Minify boxes aren't under Mindscape/Web Workbench Settings any more, just their headers. Could you please help me with this? I'd really like to get your tool up and running as soon as possible, because I have a very important project to do with Visual Studio 2013 and Bootstrap Sass. Thanks. |

Web Essentials conflicts with Web Workbench so you will want to either disable or uninstall Web Essentials. In terms of the Compile/Minify boxes, these do not show for Compass managed assets as Compass determines what needs to be compiled and minification is an option you can manage in config.rb for Compass.
