Hi, I have a grabable canvas which is nothing but a square that I can drag and drop around the chart as a foreground elemment. When I move it, it will only move after my mouse pointer leaves the rectangle since that is the only time I know where to move it. The chart move event does not get fired until I leave the square. Any ideas on how to get the event to fire before that? Thanks, Peter |

Hello Peter This would be because your grabable canvas is swallowing the mouse events. One way to work around this is to set IsHitTestVisible to false on the canvas. Then you'll need to use the charting mouse events to detect if the mouse is over the grabable canvas. You may be able to keep IsHitTestVisible to true to start with, and then change it to false during the dragging operation. If you have any trouble with this, you could either send a small sample or even just the code for your custom foreground element, then I'll be able to come up with the implementation for you.
