hi, some properties i need to display are defined as string arrays. Is there a way to attach an array editor to add or delete items from the array like the array editor in windows forms? thanks a lot, r.

Unfortunately we do not have a way of adding or removing array items -- we can only do this for variable-sized collections such as lists. You could build a custom editor for this if changing to a List-based API isn't an option. For example, you could create an editor with an ellipsis button which pops up a dialog; that dialog could then contain Add and Remove buttons which would recreate the array at the new size. |

And how can i overwrite the collection template to add a button? do i have to define a completely new typeeditor or can i somehow use the built in CollectionDisplayKey template and extend it?
thanks again. r.

Which builtin editor is used displaying arrays? Is it the same as used with lists just without the add and remove buttons?
thanks r.

For overriding the collection template, see: http://www.mindscape.co.nz/forums/Thread.aspx?ThreadID=1171 For displaying arrays, yes, that's correct, we display these as expandable with each item getting its own row, but no add or remove buttons. |
