Is item sorting & groupung (via this.propertyGrid.BindingView.DefaultView) disabled when setting ItemsSource? Is there another mechanism for sorting & grouping? I know I can sort using smartkeys, but I would prefer sorting to be controled by the view & not the view model (my dictionary is my view model in this scenario). And I still need a means to group. |

Sorting and grouping should work, but you'll need to provide a suitable SortDescription and GroupDescription (e.g. the ByCategory group description won't work because dictionary entries can't have CategoryAttribute applied to them). See http://www.mindscape.co.nz/blog/index.php/2008/01/27/sorting-and-grouping-in-the-wpf-property-grid/ (scroll down a bit) for examples of grouping a dictionary. |
