Hey, After updating to 3.2.400.21116 i cannot compile javascript files anymore - less is compiled just fine. I get no errors - i just does not generate the min.js-files? I have tried the nightly without any luck - any tips? My C:\Users\krt\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\VisualStudio\10.0 does not show an activitylog, so I dont know how to debug ... Best regards, Kristian |

Is this specific to just .js files (e.g. CoffeeScript is still compiling). Can you check under Tools/Options/Web Workbench and check that compilation is enabled for JavaScript files

I am having the same issue. This only seems to happen with .js files. Sass files are working as expected. I don't use coffeescript so I cannot attest to that. edit: also happening with CSS files. IE - when I save a file, I dont see the minified version pop up. |

@Ogefen1 - Are you using the Pro version? If so can you check under Tools/Options/Web Workbench that compilation is enabled for JavaScript files. Also check under your project settings (Mindscape/Web Workbench Settings) that minification is enabled for the files in question.

Count me in too. I am experiencing the same issue after updating to version 3.2.400.21116, pro-version. Scss compiles and minifies just fine, Javascript not so much. See the attached screenshots for my current settings. Regards, Jasper |

Hello I do have to pro version. Compilation is enabled for JS files, and I have it set in my mindscape/workbench settings as well. This was working just fine up until recently. |

Same issue. Pro version. No longer compiling to .min.js files. In options, Produce .min.js file is True. It worked for me right before last update. |

Thanks all for the extra detail. We have tracked this down and have added in a fix and we will be posting an updated build to the gallery later today.

How do I go about getting this build? Will it notify me in visual studio? Sorry, new at this |

Hi, We've posted the fix in the VS Gallery. If you open the extension manager (Tools -> Extension Manager... in VS). Click on the "Updates" section on the left hand side of the dialog and give Visual Studio a few moments to check. By default it says there are no updates until it finds them -- so it will take a moment. It should then show an update to the Web Workbench and you can then update it in place. Thanks for drawing our attention to this issue so quickly! Let us know if you have any further problems. John-Daniel Trask |
