I built the sample application successfully. But when I run the ElementExplorer.exe, a runtime error occurs : Can't convert the string "French (Switzerland)" in Attribute "Culture" to a Object of Type "System.Globalization.CultureInfo", The French (Switzerland) culture cannot be converted to a CultureInfo object on this computer, Error in File “ElementExplorer;component/mainwindow.xaml” row 818 column 23, Object "Mindscape.WpfElements.MaskedTextBox" I replace every occurrence of Culture="French (Switzerland)" to Culture="fr-CH" in MainWindow.xaml, then this issue is solved. Same issues include Culture="French (France)" and so on. I'm quite new in .NET, please point out the reason about this issue.

I would guess that it is because the friendly (display) names of cultures are localised, whereas short names are invariant. However, I can't reproduce the issue by setting my own locale to a non-English locale, so this may be down to the installed OS language, and I don't have a non-English version of Windows to hand right now to confirm this. We'll look at updating the sample to send invariant names rather than display names. |
