Hi, I tried to minify a css which references a png file to another folder in solution but url references in the css files remains same where it must point to correct location. for example I use three components and l'd like to combine them into one tiny css file.
contents of the files
into single file
merged.css becomes
where it should be

The output folder has no impact on URL references in the generated CSS, it is simply a direction as to where the .css file will be written to on disk. If you are wanting to structure things in this way you should make sure the references in the source files are consistent with the output folder you are using.

Hi, In an ideal world, I'd like to go that way. In real world, you have to use some 3rd party components like Bootstrap, and to ease version upgrades to these components you keep them in their own folders. In my project I have to use 2 css files for bootstrap, 4 for other libraries including jQuery UI,. I'd like to combine and compress them to lower request count and file sizes. Do you still think it is too much to ask? |

Certainly sounds reasonable. Can you pop a feature request into http://www.mindscapehq.com/thinktank/product/29 for this - if there is enough interest we can certainly have more of a look into this :)
