Is there a way to stop Web Workbench from adding the compiled files to the project? I don't need this as we have a compile step in our build that takes care of it for the production releases. Thanks in advance. |

You can turn off compilation through the Web Workbench options (Tools/Options/Web Workbench) either specifically for a particular file type or globally for everything - this was added in for people who are using an external compilation process which sounds like what you are doing. Is this what you are after?

Thanks Jeremy. That's not what I'm after. I still want it to compile the files so that I can develop quickly, I just don't want it to add them into the project. Mark |

Currently thats not possible but I can have a look at adding in an option for this. I will post an update once I have had a bit more of a look into whats involved.

Ive added a new option into the nightlies which allow you to turn off the automatic adding of files into the project structure by WW. You can find it under Tools / Options / Web Workbench and then in the Compilation section. This will be available in the next nightly build (20121205).
