I have created a small application which uses the MS chart. It is an MVVM app but when I set
Maximum="{Binding MaxViscometerDPYAxis
}"
Minimum="{Binding MinViscometerDPYAxis
}"> for the axes They don't seem to bind. However, if I use
yAxisViscometerDP.SetRange(_viewModel.MinViscometerDPYAxis, _viewModel.MaxViscometerDPYAxis); in code behind in the view it works fine. I am noticing the same issue setting the ItemsSource to an observable collection of Point. Binding works fine with Visibility.
public {get { return _mainChartModel.MaxViscometerIPYAxis; }
set
{
== _mainChartModel.MaxViscometerIPYAxis)
;
_mainChartModel.MaxViscometerIPYAxis =
;
);
} } Any ideas what am I doing wrong? Thanks, Peter

Hello Peter I am able to get Minimum, Maximum and ItemsSource bindings working fine at my end. If you could please send us a simple repro then I will be able to find out what's going wrong for you. You can attach a sample to a forum post using the "options" tab, or send it to jason@mindscape.co.nz. One thing that could be going wrong is the DataContext is not being set. Another thing I noticed is that the property code that you listed is called MaxViscometerIPYAxis, but in the binding it's called MaxViscometerDPYAxis. (one has an "I", one has a "D") Could this be a problem? - Jason |
