I've installed (and even purchased) the extension, and I do see the three new items in the Add Item dialog. However, when I add a file (e.g. a .less file) the custom tool is not properly set to LessGenerator. And there is no syntax highlighting for the file, which makes editing it a bit of a pain when you're used to the coloring. I also cannot seem to find anywhere to put the key for the product. Is there supposed to be an options page or some hidden menu item to activate a registration dialog? What can I do to troubleshoot these problems? |

You can activate the product by clicking on the "Go Pro now" link in the banner displayed at the bottom right of any Less, Sass or CoffeeScript editing window (the one which displays release notes when expanded). Once you have activated the product, the custom tool will be set up on any new .less files you create. If your project already contains .less files, just type LessGenerator into the Custom Tool box by hand to associate them with the Less compiler. I'm not sure why you're not seeing highlighting. We are aware of an intermittent conflict with the Chirpy add-in which can disable Less file highlighting. If you have Chirpy installed, try the following: * Go into Tools > Add-Ins |

Thanks, this worked beautifully. I now get syntax coloring and was able to register the product. Any chance you will also add a .tt runner (like Chirpy has) such that one might not need it at all? |

Thanks for the suggestion. A .tt runner isn't on the radar right now, as our current architecture doesn't support it, but we've got some work planned that could open the door to adding one. Keep your eye on the blog (also, the Release Notes pane will redisplay whenever Web Workbench is updated from the Visual Studio Gallery). |

Is there any ETA on when the conflict with Chirpy will be resolved? Love the product when it works. |

Hi Lukiffer, We don't have an ETA on this at the moment but it is unlikely to be before the end of January due to the Christmas/New Year break and staff holidays. |

@ivan, thanks for the update. fwiw, I've noticed that if you go to Tools > Add-In Manager and uncheck the box to the left of Chirpy, but leave the box in the startup column checked, then restart Visual Studio, everything works properly (both Web Workbench and Chirpy). You have to do this every time you restart Visual Studio, but can open/close as many projects/solutions as you like without having to repeat. Not sure if it changes startup order for add-ins/extensions, but I've had about 90% success with this method. |
