I'm using statement like this in theme.scss:
When I save _layout.scss, theme.css doesn't get updated with the changes. I have to save theme.scss to get it to work. I think it used to work to just save _layout.scss before one of the recent updates. I'm using the free edition of 3.2.761.22458 in Visual Studio 2010. It looks like the problem only happens with imported files that are in a parent directory. Imported files in same directory as theme.scss seem to work. Is this something that will be fixed soon or do I need to change my directory structure? |

We have had a similar bug reported and so the fix associated with this will be pushed out with the next gallery update which will be early next week - if you can retry with that version and let me know if its still a problem. You should not need to change your directory structure :)

I am also having this problem with the licensed version having updated today (23 April 2013). Imported files are in the same directory as the main.scss file and I have to go to that file and save it for my imported files to be compiled. |

We have made another round of updates, of which there is an update which should hopefully improve this which will be in the next nightly build. If you are still seeing a problem after the next update would you be able to send through a small repro project which highlights this behaviour?

Jeremy, I'm now seeing this behaviour as well, I'm currently using the v3.2.847.22573 nightly. I have to save my main "screen.scss" file if I want to see any changes in my imported partial scss files. If you would like any further information, or if you would like me to open a new ticket let me know. Cheers, Jon |

Hi Jon, We have recently pushed some updates to the nightlies subsequent to that build which may address this issue - are you able to check again after installing either a current nightly or the next gallery update (which will be updated shortly) and let us know if this is still an issue. If it is then would it be possible for you to send through a project which highlights this issue which we can use to debug the issue further?

Jeremy, The nightly (20130428.10) seems to have done the trick; if there's any changes with the gallery release I'll let you know! Thank you to all, sorry to bug over a weekend... Cheers, Jon |
