I have newly installed the Apr 18th nightly build version and cannot create coffee from an existing .js file using VS 2010 SP1 on windows XP

Is it possible to re-install to a more 'sane' location. Are there problems with directory/folder names containing spaces as is typical on WinXP workstation installations? |

No we are not aware of any issues around spaces - there have been issues in the past with unicode characters in the path however. This particular problem does seem to crop up from time to time but it seems to be more of an environmental issue as we have not been able to reproduce this locally to date. You can indeed move the location of the nodejs installation, to do this find the existing installation (the nodejs/nodejs folder in your path above) and then copy that folder to a new location. You can then set the "NodeJS installation path" property in the Web Workbench options (Tools / Options / Web Workbench) underneath the Compilation section to be that folder and it will use that installation instead. Would certainly be interested to hear if that solves the problem for you :)
