Hello, I may just be missing something, and I tried to search the forums for a similar thread, but came up with nada, so here it goes... I figured out (after a bit of frustration) why SVG files were not being properly served to my web page, because Cassini isn't coded with SVG file mime-type. Simple fix though, just right click on the project and choose "Use IIS Express..." and voila, my SVG files are being served! However, this created the following Web Workbench Output error when I try to save any of my SCSS files in the project while using the IIS Express web development server.
If I switch back to Cassini, the problem disappears. I have verified that there is a WebWorkbench.mswwsettings file, and like I said, everything works great and I haven't had any problems until I switched the project to use IIS Express as the development engine, then it refuses to compile my scss files. You've got yourselves a great extension here and thanks in advance for any help you may be able to provide with my issue. EDIT: Forgot to mention that I'm using Visual Studio 2012 Ultimate |

Same problem here. |

Have you converted this project to a Compass project and the file you are saving lives under the Compass sass directory? This error is typically seen because you are referencing Compass but the Compass compiler is not being used to include the references.

Hi Jeremy, thanks for getting back to me. The project is indeed a compass project and the file that I am saving lives under the sass directory. Everything works great (everything compiles, no errors) until I right click on the project and select "Use IIS Express...". Then it throws the error mentioned above. If I switch back to the Visual Studio Development server, everything works again. I've even checked to see if the menu option to "Setup Compass Project" is available in the right click menu of the project, but it's nowhere to be found. If it affects anything, this is a Foundation project, and I have not yet added ASP.NET functionality to the project (although I plan to in the very near future). Thanks for any help. |

Thanks for the updated info, Ive found an issue with handling web site projects using IIS Express for Compass projects and Ive added in a fix for this. This will be available in the next nightly build.
