For example with the time explorer view port set to 24 hours, and the selected window set to 1 hour the selection window does not represent the actually selected time range. You can see this by plotting 24 hours of data on the time explorer, and 1 hour on a separate plot that has the time range of the selected period. The 1 hour plot data will look visually different than the selection area of the time explorer. Generally the 1 plot will extend further than the data shown in the selection window of the time explorer. Do you have suggestions for how to deal with this? |

Hello Dervin I do not fully understand the scenario, but it sounds like a bug. Please send some screen shots or/and a repro project and I'll fix it up. Jason Fauchelle |

The same time range should be shown in the time explorer selected region (on the bottom), and the trend plot (upper plot). As you can see the upper plot extends well beyond what the time explorer selection is highlighting. |

Hello Dervin Thanks for posting the image. I have seen issues in the past where the slider is a little bit off compared to the selected region, but never anything to this magnitude. It looks as though the selected region is missing almost half the data. I have not been able to reproduce this at my end. First lets determine if this is an issue with the model or the visuals. By debugging, or using a tool such as Snoop, check the ActuamMinimum and ActualMaximum values of the XAxis of the top chart, and compare them with the RangeStartTime and RangeEndTime values of the time explorer. Let me know if these values are matching up correctly or not. Also please send the xaml you used to display the chart and time explorer. There may be some padding or axis settings that are affecting the time explorer display. It looks like you've made a custom time explorer style. This code would be useful to finding the issue as well. Jason Fauchelle |
