Hey guys,
Finally getting around to looking at this - first hiccup - samples don't run in Visual Web Developer Express. No problem, I'll just work on a solution from scratch. I see you though you dont have a provider for SQL Express (yes express editions for me at home :)) - do you think the Sql Server 2005 provider will work or should I switch to MySQL? Stew |

Hi Stew, First off, thanks for having a look at LightSpeed - any feedback is great. In relation to whch drive to look at you should be able to use the SQL Server 2005 provider with SQL Express however we'll test this further this week to ensure all the tests pass with it. The MySQL driver won't work with SQL Express. If you want to just work with a database as quickly and easily as possible I'd suggest the SQLite provider as once you reference the provider assembly for that you can just work with a single file as a database (so no need to setup a bulky database server on your machine to play with. You may want to get the client tools for SQLite however if you want to dig deeper with it). Hope this helps, - JD |

Hey Stew, Express is what I use to dev against so no problem there. What is the specific problem with running the samples? Cheers, Andrew. |

JD I'll have a look at SQLite. Cheers. I can open the poker solution in web dev or visual c# express - but most of the projects are "unsupported" - so i get the Poker.Model and Poker.Tests but no Solution Folders or the website (must be a web application project?).
