Does LightSpeed work in medium trust? I tried using the poker sample website set to medium trust but I get this exception:

Hi James, Unfortunately, the SQLite ADO.NET provider requires full trust. SQL Server should be fine though so let me know if you have any issues. Cheers, Andrew. |

After that post I tried deleting the SQLite dll and using the SQL server provider but I then got the error below. Note that I had added the AllowPartiallyTrustedCallers attribute to the website so I assume the error is caused by the LightSpeed dll not having AllowPartiallyTrustedCallers on it.

You are correct and I have now added the attribute. Cheers, Andrew. |

Hi James, After doing more investigation I've discovered that Medium trust doesn't include the ReflectionPermission permission - a permission essential for LightSpeed. You may be able to create a custom medium trust configuration such as that outlined here: http://channel9.msdn.com/wiki/default.aspx/Channel9.HowToUseMediumTrustInAspNet20 Cheers, Andrew. |
