Hi, I am writing a custom validator, and need to know the name of the column that is getting validated as I am using the same validator for different columns in different tables. So, say the name of my column is AssetNumber, in my ValidationRule.Validate method, when I do: validationContext.TargetName I get "Asset Number" (the human readable version of the property) Is there any way to get the name of the column being validated, or would it be enough to just remove spaces? Thanks - Imtiaz |

No, surprisingly there is not currently! Ill add in a new property called FieldName to return the name of the field being validated. This will most likely be in tomorrows nightly build rather than tonights one so Ill update you once this is merged.
