Hi I´ve successfully tested SQL Server support now, but get an exception when trying a MySQL database. First of all, I am using the 5.0.8.1 MySql.Data provider, but the error message complains that it is missing the 5.0.6.0 version of MySql.Data. I guess the latter version will just as well and I guess furtermore that the MySql.Data will have to be placed in the GAC. Correct? |

Tobias, For now, just use the version of the provider that shipped with LightSpeed (available under program files\LightSpeed). Just place the dll in the same folder as your test application. You may also be able to use an assembly binding redirect. We'll take a look at upgrading the version that LightSpeed references to the latest one. Cheers, Andrew. |

I am curious if there is a way to get this to work with MS Access? |

I need to use MySQL.Web.DLL. The version you've provided (in the latest nightly build) is 5.2.5, however from the web I can only download 5.2.7, so I've got a mismatch problem. Any chance you can update your version to use the latest and greatest? (Maybe even 6.1?) Thanks, Robert |

As an interim measure, you should be able to solve that with a binding redirect, but we'll look into that and try to get the build baseline updated. Thanks for the heads up. |

Thank you very much. It might be beneficial to include the MySQL.Web.dll along with the MySQL.Data.dll in the future. |

I had no idea there was such a thing as a "Binding redirect" - very cool. Thanks again!
