Hey guys, thanks for getting the IIS7 problem fixed and also for the new validation message override functionality. I now have a problem trying to validate Transient fields, it just doesn't happen. If I take the Transient attribute away from my property (and add a field in the database, so it doesn't fall over) the validation runs as it should. But with the Transient attribute in place the validation doesn't fire at all. Would it be at all possible for this to happen? If not, as you've quite possibly designed it like that for a reason, could you maybe suggest an alternative? Thanks again, |

Hi Charles, The best solution for now is to perform the validation by overriding OnValidate. Cheers, Andrew. |

Hi Andrew, That's sweet. When you say "for now" does that mean that there are plans to change this? ;-) Thanks, |

There may well be... |
