When updating the database (either DB2 or SQL Server) with Log SQL checked I get an error. I get a similar error when trying to generate SQL scripts using migrations

Apparently this is an issue which gets raised if your "SQL Server Data Tools" install is corrupt. Can you try installing the most recent update (you can download it here: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/data/hh297027) and see if that resolves the issue for you?
