Hi, well after some tests we want to buy a LightSpeed 2 Enterprise Edition, but in night builds you have some fixes that you don't have in LS 2 stable version. Do we get this fixes also (fixes for orm and designer), should we get them for 12 months of support that you give us and what kind of support do we get with LightSpeed 2 Enterprise Edition, and what is happening when LS 3 came out (do we need to buy again version 3, if we should do we get discount) Regards, |

Hi Haris, Customers get access to nightly builds of their edition so you will have a nightly version of the Enterprise edition (including up to the minute source code). I would recommend the nightly build especially if the main changes you need are in the designer. We provide free upgrades to point releases (for example, you will get LightSpeed 2.1 for free) but major versions are not free. We do offer discounts to existing customers however. Having said this, LightSpeed 3.0 is some time away and we are currently hard at work on LightSpeed 2.1. You will be able to get all fixes in the 2.x product line with the nightly builds. The support offered is the normal online forum help here but for enterprise customers we also offer direct email support and, depending on the support required, aim for a 24 hour turn around on an issue. I hope that helps, let me know if there is anything else I can help you with. Kind regards, John-Daniel Trask |

Also do you give SVN access to source code? |
|

Not externally, no, we ship a zip of the source repository in the installer. Interesting idea however and something I will pass back to the team to have a think about. Thanks, John-Daniel Trask |

Ok, we have bought Enterprise version, but it will be very difficult for us to tell all of our team, that they need to uninstall and again install LS because of some update. It would be easier that you give us readonly access to SVN so we can check every morning for update and rebuild whole LS Project. This way we need to read forum to see is there something new, and is there some bug fixed on LS Haris |
