How would I call UnitOfWork.Import to allow it to load a soft-deleted entity? |

UnitOfWork.Import only synchronises against non-deleted entities but try loading your deleted entity manually first so its resident in the identity map. Import uses a FindById call so it will check the IdentityMap first before going to the database.
