Hi, when I was playing with LightSpeed I got this error: Circular associations are not supported by LightSpeed: [ProductGroup.Parent and ProductBase.Parent] I'm quite familiar with this kind of exception but this time it caught me by surprise because there's no Parent member in ProductBase class. I was able to isolate the problem and put together a simple test case which I've attached. Could you please have a look on it? I'm using LightSpeed 2.1 and Visual Studio 2005. |

Hi Aldaron, Just to let you know that we have reproduced your problem and are working on a fix. Unfortunately at this stage we do not have a workaround for you either. Sorry for the delay on this and we will get back to you as soon as we have something for you. |

Hi Ivan,
Is this going to be supported in LightSpeed3?

Hello Nathan, Do you mean will this specific issue be fixed, or will there be general support for circular associations? If you have run up against this particular issue -- of LightSpeed claiming to detect a circular association where none appears to exist -- we can look at it for you, but we have no plans to support actual circular associations in LightSpeed 3. |
