I am using the latest version (as of about 2 weeks ago) of WPF Diagrams. I want to prevent the user from changing the end points that the connections are connected to. The should still be able to move the segments that make up the connection but not change the ends of the connection to new connection points. If they want to change the points that the connection is connected to then they need to delete it and re-add it. Is there a way to do this? |

Hello Thanks for this suggestion, in the next nightly build the DiagramSurface will have a CanRelocateConnections property. Simply set this to false and the connection relocator thumbs for all connections will no longer show up - preventing users from relocating connections. -Jason Fauchelle |

Hello Leon The property is actually on the DiagramSurface control itself. so: ds.CanRelocateConnections. If it is not there, all you'll need to do is download and install the latest WPF Diagrams nightly build. (You'll need to uninstall your existing WPF Diagrams first). What you probably have is the pure 3.0 trial. After its release we continue to make bug fixes, improvements, and sometimes new features which become available in nightly builds. Nightly builds are available and are exactly the same for both the paid product as well as the free trial. You can find the latest nightly build of WPF Diagrams from here: http://www.mindscapehq.com/products/wpfdiagrams/nightly-builds -Jason Fauchelle |

I just removed my old WPF Diagrams 3.0, and put the nightly build of 2014042. Then I had a XamlParseException. So I removed the licenses.licx of my project, and put the licenses.licx from CustomDataSerialization Sample, and it works. (I don't know why. It's the same data in the file). Thank you I have CanRelocateConnections now. |

The licenses thing does sound strange. Visual Studio probably just got into a bad state, and changing the file may have refreshed it. Thanks for pointing it out. -Jason Fauchelle |
