The Mindscape Software License states that "with respect to any Personal Release, Customer may only use the Mindscape Software for its personal use and not for or in connection with (in any way) a commercial purpose)." Is LightSpeed Express a "Personal Release" or is it allowed for commercial use? |

Hi Frank, You can use it for commercial purposes - we're currently planning a reworking of our licenses to reflect how things actually work. Note though that customers of the Enterprise, Pro and Standard licenses will get support requests prioritised so if you're business relies on the software being built it may be worth purchasing a Standard Edition for your team. So, use it happily for commercial use if your model is small enough and enjoy using LightSpeed :-) Cheers, John-Daniel Trask |
