Hello, I want to use LightSpeed to create mobile app. I downloaded Espress edition and tried to create LightSpeed model but I did not find it in Add New Item. Does LightSpeed support .NetCompact Framework 3,5 and SQL Server CE?

We support SQL Server CE on the desktop, but unfortunately LightSpeed doesn't run on the Compact Framework at the moment. |

Afraid not. It's not something we've tested or even tried, and there are features that LightSpeed depends on that the CF doesn't support. The main one I know about is Reflection.Emit, which I think you could get around by setting LightSpeedContext.MediumTrustCompatibility = true, but there may well be others. You could give it a go but to be honest I'd be pretty surprised if it worked! |
