Hi,
I just installed the nightly build for the express edition. As soon as I drag a table onto the design surface and get an entity, the following error comes on compile: Error 8 Friend access was granted to 'LightSpeed, PublicKey=0024000004800000940000000602000000240000525341310004000001000100a74fe2f46a47aadf387a09e137ba3eb1ee933625ec67e1becfd23cda17187b47be4d131d131bea256904726e16e71f19fe3858b53b8f75a1f436b06f015cc8cfd26d736e7375b846265a1ea7d2760fa85061524dedd869f773f1ead320cbdfb0d7105014b7ac90871805be2d2fa62a6e33744736020621b40592bc1ede8ef7d3', but the output assembly is named 'LightSpeed, Version=1.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null'. Ideas ? Or just wait for the next nigtly build ? |

An edit button for our posts would be nice btw :)

Hmm, not sure what would be causing this. It almost sounds like your project is trying to *output* to an assembly named LightSpeed. Could you zip up your test project and post it here (you can attach a file via the Options tab) please, so we can take a look? Thanks! Re the edit button, we used to have one, but for some reason our forum software didn't notify us on edit. As a result, we would get an email, spend half an hour researching the customer's problem, then go to the forum to post the answer and find the message had been edited to say, "Never mind. I figured it out." *grin* Yeah, we know the "right" solution would be to fix or replace the forum software, but that's not a high priority -- sorry! |

I have the same result. Installed LightSpeed nightly build (may 29th) and when I add a surface, entity and compile I get
error CS0281: Friend access was granted to 'LightSpeed, PublicKey=0024000004800000940000000602000000240000525341310004000001000100a74fe2f46a47aadf387a09e137ba3eb1ee933625ec67e1becfd23cda17187b47be4d131d131bea256904726e16e71f19fe3858b53b8f75a1f436b06f015cc8cfd26d736e7375b846265a1ea7d2760fa85061524dedd869f773f1ead320cbdfb0d7105014b7ac90871805be2d2fa62a6e33744736020621b40592bc1ede8ef7d3', but the output assembly is named 'Lightspeed, Version=1.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null'. Oops, found it. The sample project I created to test the build was called.. duh.. "LightSpeed". Changing the name of the output to LightSpeedTest resolved the error.
