When will release 3.0 available?

Since the current nightbuild fix the connection pool leak problem of mysql db, but I wonder when the stable version 3.0 will be available. Thanks.

Hi Forbing,

We're targeting around a mid year beta release followed by the final version. We can't commit to an exact date at the moment as there is still a lot of work being undertaken. Having said that:

• While nightlies aren't as rigorously tested as release versions we do support customers using them when they're simply waiting on the next release. We do carry out full automated tests on every nightly build (more than 7,000 tests being executed at last check) so they should be in a fairly solid state.
• We will be making LightSpeed 3.0 available as a free upgrade to customers who purchase this year prior to its release.

I realise that many organisations cannot commit to using a nightly type build - please let me know if this is an issue for you.
