I am running the most current nightly build on the Enterprise version of Lightspeed. I can drag tables from the Server Explorer to the design surface. The generate code only contains the context and the DTOs. I never get generated code for the entities or any sort of error message. How do I troubleshoot this?

1. Open the Output window and keep it open while you make and save a change to your model. See if any messages come up there. 2. Check Control Panel and see if you have two installations of LightSpeed. There is an issue when upgrading from 2.2 RTM to a nightly build that the old version may not be fully uninstalled, and this can lead to weird behaviour. If you do have two installations, please uninstall both, then reinstall the nightly. 3. Send us the .lsmodel and the generated .cs or .vb file and we will take a look. (You can attach a zip file via the Options tab, or mail the files via the Contact Us link if they contain sensitive information.) |
