What happened:
1. I installed the latest release version of LightSpeed on Vista x64 and VS 2008. 2. "LightSpeed Model" did not appear in the "Add New Item" dialog. 3. LightSpeedModel.zip was not installed in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 9.0\Common7\IDE\ItemTemplates\CSharp\Data\1033\" Work-around: 1. Start cmd.exe with "Run as administrator". 2. Type "LightSpeedExpress.msi" at the command line. |

Hi Dan, We thought we had ironed out all the kinks with Vista installations and Visual Studio (it gets very hairy!) in the 2.2 release. I'll have a look into this as perhaps it's an issue with the 64 bit version of Vista. We are scheduled to review the installer to ensure that it works happily with Windows 7 so we'll look at this at the same time.
