Hi there, Bit of a basic question.... we've reached the 8 model class limit in Lightspeed Express Edition, and we would like to upgrade to Standard Edition (both on our development machines and our live web server). Unfortunately the person who did the original installation is away and didn't get around to upgrading before he went.. now I've hit the limit and can't develop the next feature on our site! Could you tell me what I would need to do to upgrade our live web server from Express to Standard Edition? Is it just a matter of overwriting the existing DLL's with the new ones? Thanks Ed |

Yes, all you would need to do is copy the Standard Edition DLL(s) over the top of the Express Edition ones. Although LightSpeed is packaged as a MSI for developer use, it is *not* necessary to run the MSI just to deploy the DLL(s) -- they are xcopy deployable. |

It's very straightforward then... great. Thanks for your help Ed |
