Using LightSpeed 4: I'm trying to create a one-way association (as per http://www.mindscapehq.com/documentation/lightspeed/Domain-Modelling-Techniques/Reference-Data-and-Lookups) to a linked entity (the reference object is defined in a different model). I'm unable to save as "Reference object XXX must be cached", but I'm unable to set the cached property on the Linked Entity Stub. This works fine if the Reference Entity is in the model. Any workarounds? Cheers |

That error doesn't actually prevent you from saving; you can still save, and the model will still be generated correctly. (I know the wording is rather more alarming, but that's just Visual Studio freaking out over any validation error no matter what.) If you want to get rid of the warning, there isn't a workaround within the designer, but I think you could do it by opening the .lsmodel file in a text editor and adding I'll get a fix added for this -- thanks for letting us know about it. |

Cheers, That's done the trick. Mark |
