It very disappointing. I love the product. I can see its very well developed but it have been trying for two day to get a working CRUD update to operate. I have followed the tutorial and resolved some of the typos to get to an valid connection to a SQL database. The designer creates the entities fine. But when I do an update, the only thing I ever get is " Invalid object name 'KeyTable'." There is a KeyTable in the database that was created by lightspeed designer. I has a single record. Im not sure fro the documentation whether or not you are supposed to bring the keyTable into the data model when using database first development. I want to get this to work because I ready to update my ORM from EntitySpaces.
} What could be the issue. Visual Studio 2012 Windows 8.1 64 Bit SQL server 2008 32bit |

What is the "KeyTable object error" you are seeing? It sounds from your description like you dont have the KeyTable table created in your database. You can find a script to create this under your installation folder e.g. C:\Program Files (x86)\Mindscape\LightSpeed\Providers\

Thanks, on looking very carefully at the configuration I found two typos, all of my doing. The "SqlServer2008" and the name of the source had some letters out of place. Its now working great. |
