Searching the forms and the user documentation all I can find it how to index columns with Lucene.NET. Is there a way to represent (in the designer or model) that a particular column should be indexed by the database to improve query performance? At this point the approach seems to be simply to add the index to the database manually. Thanks, Robert

Hello Robert, That's correct. LightSpeed doesn't currently attempt to represent these kind of database level optimisations -- you'll need to use your database tools to add indexes. |

Just to add to this Robert - Lucene "index" means to add that field to the full text index rather than meaning anything to do with normal database indexes for performance purposes. Sorry for the confusion, John-Daniel Trask |
