The above model generates code where InheritedId is int not guid: public partial class OrgTree : Entity<System.Guid> The above should have been guid instead of int. My guess is that it has to do with the fact that the Id is in the "Mother"-class and not in the "Inherited"-class?

Thanks for reporting this. The cause is exactly as you suspected. This was something that was handled correctly for one-to-many associations but unfortunately not for one-to-one associations. I have committed a fix and this will be included in nightly builds dated 17 Oct 2009 and above, available from about 1430 GMT. (If you are starting to work with the 3.0 beta, it may take a few days for the fix to be folded into that branch; let us know.) As an interim workaround, if you explicitly set the Identity Type of Inherited to Guid, this will solve the problem. |
