Hello, I was porting some old code to Lightspeed 2.2 nightly build (5th Dec), and I got a NotSupportedException "The method 'GroupBy' is not supported.". We are using VistaDB4 right now and well, would like to know if this is a mistake from my part (it's a really simple Linq expression), if there's a recomended workaround or if there's an ETA to have this working (if you need more info about the code, db schema and so on let me know). Regards, Vicente |

Hi Vicente, GroupBy is not supported in LightSpeed 2.2 since we had no concept of grouping in the core querying API in 2.x. We have added support for this in LightSpeed 3.0 both in our core querying api and through the LINQ provider, so if you need to write native grouping queries then our suggestion would be to upgrade to 3.0 which will be publically available within the next few weeks. A workaround you could look for 2.2 would be to use stored procedures to execute the specific grouping queries you are interested in.
