I know this is a bit of a nitpick, but it seems like the email address validation is a bit too restrictive. I use the feature of gmail where you can throw a "+whatever" on your email username and it will still show up in your inbox. This doesn't pass the regex for email addresses in the validation. I know the actual RFC regex for email validation is crazy, but it seems like it would be good to at least throw a + in the username part of the regex. Thanks! --Jeff |

Good catch. I've logged a bug for this -- what's the severity/urgency for you? Are there any other common cases that are giving you grief? (As you say, the actual spec is crazy, so the LightSpeed rule is always going to be a bit approximate, but we agree we ought to play nicely with "real world" cases like the gmail +.) |

It isn't real urgent for me. I'm just using the gmail . anywhere in the username as a workaround. I haven't found any other corner cases here, but will post back if I come up with something else. |
