Hi, I need the key field ID start from 1 when I delete the contents of my table. Suppose the table has 10 records.

I presume you are using SQL Server, in which case you probably want to use the TRUNCATE command when resetting your table. Alternatively you can drop and recreate the table, which may be sensible if this is to be used in some kind of automated testing script.
